Description

The Last Medic is a 2D precision platformer set in space. You play as a space medic with a jetpack on a mission to save Earth. You can also jump, double-jump, heal, and dash. The player's goal is to heal the earth by activating special healing pylons scattered throughout the galaxy. The game's story is told implicitly through the environment, and is open to interpretation.

Features

  • Jetpack, jump, double-jump, heal, dash, and fast-fall (in any order). Your jetpack has a limited range, but it resets when you land on solid ground.
  • Explore 150+ levels across 18 different planets, each with their own unique visual and musical themes.
  • Quickly retry levels when you die, thanks to a multi-checkpoint system.
  • Enjoy a variety of originally composed music. You'll rarely hear the same tune twice.
  • Pilot a submarine-like personal craft through a handful of underwater levels.
  • Fly a hoverboard on one of the planets.
  • Discover various secrets and Easter eggs scattered throughout the galaxy.
  • Jump straight into the action! There's no hand-holding, and all storytelling is environmental.

Seven Blue Pixels is an alias for solo game developer Nebojsa "Nebs" Petrovic. Nebs is based out of Montreal, Canada. His first (and so far only) game is "The Last Medic", a 2D precision platformer set in space.
